Profile Information

I am just Me....

My name is Tysha Tinney, and I have had a very interesting life. Born in LA, Raised in California, my whole life, until Now. My dad was the Los Angeles Lakers Photographer in the 1980's, so I grew up going to all the Laker games and being able to hang out with Magic Johnson, and Kareem after the games. That was cool. My mom taught me to love and Accept everyone and to be kind to all living things and that has always been my mission.

After high school I went to college in San Luis Obispo. I majored in Psychology. I began working with Autistic and developmentally disabled Children. I moved to Santa Barbara and continued working with special needs Children. It was one of the best things I have ever done.

I also learned Reiki and began working at an animal shelter, where I used the Reiki healing energy to help abandoned and abused animals. It works profoundly on animals.

In 2005 I was in a terrible accident and not expected to Live. My family was told I would not make it through. My whole family believes in Reiki and the power of prayer, so they all began sending Reiki and prayer. The doctors were amazed I made it through the night and said I may make it through, but would never walk, Today because of all the Reiki and healing I received I am able to do Yoga again, swim, jump, and am starting to be able to even run.

After that traumatic experience I new that life was such a gift and I made a commitment to make sure I lived my life doing the things that I love and that make me happy. That includes helping others and spreading Peace and Kindness to the world. It includes helping animals and all beings. I am dedicated to helping the world become a happier, more peaceful place.

To make a long story short. hahaha. I had dedicated my life to being of service, which meant for me to get an RV and travel, with my dogs, volunteering and helping where needed. I happened to Run into an amazing man named Chris Tinney. Wow, he was doing the Same thing, traveling in an Rv, with a dog, volunteering and spreading peace.

We fell in love, I donated my RV, I jumped aboard his Rv, brought my dogs........and we were married in Vegas a few months later. I proposed to Chris on one Knee. He said yes and we have been on the PEACE TOUR ever since. We traveled all over, helping those we could and connecting with amazing people. We started an online Peace Church which has gone on to have over 1,000 members dedicated to World Peace and Kindness.

We traveled for almost a year together and decided out of all the places we had been, we felt most connected and drawn to Reno.

The Peace Garden started at an Rv park here, we had made some great friends here and just fell in love the truckee River and all the amazing people here in Reno.

We also felt we could be of best service here. So we choose to call Reno our Home. YAY!

Chris and I plan on doing a lot of fun stuff here, while at the same time helping in all ways possible. We want to connect with as many people in Reno, that are making a difference or would like to help create Peace in Reno with us.

I am really looking forward to getting to know this community. So far I am truly amazed at how many people here in Reno are really out there "doing" some great things. We have met so many people that are working towards some really big changes and we feel really great about working as a community.

My passion is Yoga, Reiki, animals, Peace, Dancing, acoustic Music, Painting, Art, Writing, World Peace and Love.

I know we can create a more Peaceful Planet, it starts with the community..........let's create so much Peace in Reno that we will be an example of a community that is all about Kindness and Peace.

Looking forward to meeting You all...........

Namaste, Tysha Tinney

Yes, Foxy's coloring is the same as your Razzi's, but in that pic the color is off (too much light). I will attempt to upload another pic of Foxy here, but don't know if it will work.

Many Blessings!

"Everything helps. A comment of encouragement, a smile, a jar of peanut butter and Jelly, a warm blanket, a $5 donation, a prayer..........each act of kindness goes towards creating this. We now feed over 200 people each week in Reno. We also make sure as many homeless people here in Reno have a warm Jacket and sleeping bag, blanket."

Hi Tysha--

I want to help!!! Please let me know how I can get involved?? My boyfriend and I are trying to find somewhere to volunteer serving food on Christmas Day, do you know of anything?

Yay! Here's to helping people and bringing people closer together!!!

Hi Tysha,
I just officially joined Peace Reno and am reading your page for the first time...You are certainly an inspiration to all, WOW.

I just have to comment about the little chi you are holding. I don't know if he is your dog, but he looks an awful lot like my dog, "Foxy." My profile pic shows me holding Foxy.
Bright Blessings!
