Spread Peace Reno is a collaboration of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits bringing you positive, uplifting events volunteer opportunities.
Every month, in print and online, you’ll meet members of Spread Peace Reno and others in our community making a difference.
Spread Peace Reno, the publication, showcases local residents “doing good” online and off. Every month we introduce you to Reno residents on Facebook, in performing arts, helping animals and many others all with a mission of creating a more kind and compassionate world. We will also introduce you to some wonderful animals available for adoption.
WHO
Spread Peace Reno is a community of people that believe in coming together to do "good" in the world; both online and off.
It was founded by the husband and wife team of Chris and Tysha Tinney and their friend Ron. Chris is the Founder of PowerfulIntentions.com, an Internet community that became the official online community for a movie called, "The Secret” and boasted more than 22,000 visitors an hour at it’s height.
Tysha Tinney is a former Unity Church Youth Minister and known for her work helping animals, feeding the hungry and in the Reiki Peace Garden.
For the past year Tysha & Chris have been traveling the country on The Peace Tour with SpreadPeace.org. Although they still travel for events they’ve made Reno their home and have started a local chapter of SpreadPeace.org with Ron and other called "Spread Peace Reno"
